Standard equipment includes keyless entry, keyless ignition, an adjustable driver’s seat and an 8-inch color HD touchscreen.
Mechanical – 2020 Nissan LEAF specs
Nissan offers two LEAF configurations-the standard LEAF and the LEAF Plus-and we have Empire Lakewood Nissan specials available for both. Both are front-wheel-drive vehicles with the primary difference being that the Plus has a stronger electric motor and more battery capacity. Note that while the S and SV are available in either the standard or Plus configuration, the SL is exclusive to the Plus. The standard electric motor is rated for 110 kilowatts and the standard battery for 40 kilowatt-hours. The Plus motor is rated for 160 kW and the Plus battery for 62 kWh. What does this mean in terms of performance? The Plus makes 214 horsepower compared to 147 horses. Both vehicles employ regenerative braking and offer two driver-selectable modes: aggressive and more subdued. Both models also give you the option of either 120- and 240-volt charging with the latter offering faster charging. Your LEAF can also feature a DC fast-charger port if you add the optional Charge package. On a full charge, the LEAF range is about 150 miles whereas the LEAF Plus range is about 215 miles.
