There are no major updates for the new 2024 Altima. Nissan has, however, expanded the complimentary subscription for NissanConnect from six months to three years.
Every 2024 Nissan Altima near Denver has a continuously variable transmission. There are two engines available. Most models have a 2.5L four-cylinder. Front-wheel drive is standard with that engine, and all-wheel drive is optional. Performance of the FWD models is 188 horsepower and 180 pound-feet of torque, and performance of the AWD models is 182 hp and 178 lb.-ft. The SR VC-Turbo is FWD exclusively and has a turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder that outputs 236 hp and 267 lb.-ft. with standard gas or 248 hp and 273 lb.-ft. with 93 octane gas.
The S, SV and SR have an 8-inch infotainment touch screen. The SL and SR VC-Turbo have a 12.3 touch screen with integrated navigation. Standard driver-assistance technologies include automatic high-beam headlamps, a rearview monitor, driver attention alert, forward collision alert with automatic braking, lane departure alert, blind-spot alert and rear cross-traffic alert. Optional technologies include adaptive cruise control with lane centering, a traffic sign reader for the cruise control system, rear automatic braking and a 360-degree surround-view monitor as an upgrade for the standard rearview monitor.
